With over 25 years' experience at the crossroads of biomedical engineering, clinical research and technological innovation in healthcare for humans and animals, he is a key player in the development and integration of cutting-edge solutions for cardiology. His original career path has enabled him to create revolutionary tools for the analysis and management of physiological data, helping to optimize patient care and open up new perspectives in diagnosis and monitoring.
From the outset, he has designed advanced anesthesia management systems for cardiac surgery, enabling precise, real-time monitoring of critical vital parameters in the operating room, as well as innovative imaging technologies. He is also co-founder of Euresys. These tools have not only improved intra-operative safety, but also provided anesthetists with more effective means of adaptation and intervention, guaranteeing better management of high-risk patients. Our commitment to the creation of innovative solutions continued with the filing of three key patents in the field of cardiology, dedicated to the measurement of very low blood flows and the analysis of respiratory movements linked to cardiac variations. These technological advances have made it possible to refine patient monitoring in the hospital environment and improve early detection of respiratory insufficiency and circulatory anomalies.

His role at the CHU de Liège as creator of a healthcare management start-up gave him a unique opportunity to integrate new technologies at the heart of medical protocols, notably by working on the design and implementation of real-time hospital management systems, promoting better synchronization between medical services and guaranteeing optimized patient care. Working closely with clinicians, he has developed methods and tools to facilitate the use of decentralized biomedical data for rapid therapeutic decision-making.

His expertise also extends to functional analysis in medical thermography, notably through my participation in the industrial development of the ThermoCheck® system, a revolutionary technology for the early detection of breast cancer using infrared thermography. By integrating advanced thermal analysis methodologies and collaborating with research and engineering teams, it has helped optimize thermal image processing algorithms and developed associated artificial intelligence tools to offer practitioners a more accurate, rapid, reliable and accessible screening tool. This project, in conjunction with ThermoCheck.Health, illustrates his ability to translate technological innovations into concrete solutions, in the service of preventive medicine and non-invasive diagnostics.
Its approach to innovation is not limited to technology: it is also based on a holistic vision of the organization of care and the optimization of clinical methodologies. His expertise in the analysis of physiological data, the integration of artificial intelligence in the management of cardiovascular pathologies and the development of cardiology monitoring tools enables me to propose disruptive and pragmatic solutions adapted to the current challenges of the hospital sector.

By joining a hospital team as a volunteer assistant in a university cardiology department, he brings an essence of creativity and innovation, combining his technical know-how with a deep understanding of clinical needs. His aim is to bring a dynamic of applied research, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations and integrating innovative tools that improve quality of care and diagnostic accuracy.

With a wealth of experience combining technological development, medical project management and collaborations with hospital and academic institutions, jil is keen to put its expertise at the service of a medical team committed to excellence and innovation in cardiology.

When my mother was diagnosed with cancer in 2012, I found myself disheartened by the conventional treatment options available. Driven by a deep desire to make a difference, I dedicated myself to researching and developing innovative tools and techniques. My goal is to create advanced monitoring, treatment, and prediction tools that could provide early intervention, enhance the quality of life, and extend the lives of patients, and make it accessible to as many people as possible.

Tragically, it was too late to help my mother. But through this profound loss, I found a powerful purpose. Her struggle became the catalyst that ignited my passion to help others facing similar battles. Every challenge we faced and every lesson learned became the fuel that drives me today.
